Locking Gas Cap

Default Locking Gas Cap
Is anyone aware of a locking gas cap made for the 2010 Mustang. I just don't like opening the door and not seeing any security. I wish they would have made an interior release for the gas door.

I got my locking gas cap for my 2007 GT at RockAauto.com I am sure they have them for the 2010, was about $16.00 works great.

2010 is different than earlier model years. 2010 has a capless filler neck. You open the door on the fender and there is no cap. You just shove the nozzle in or whatever else.

take dimensions and see if Rock Auto has a part that can fit on it.

Rock Auto.com is the best OEM parts site out there IMO

I just got back from the dealer and picked up the part. It is a locking gas filler neck plug. Fits perfect. It is part # 8U5Z-9C268-B. I ran that part number on a google search and I could have got it $10 less but by the time you pay shipping and /or handling ???

Thanks for the product code saved me some research. I was able to get one at the dealer and you are right after shipping its not much cheaper to by online.

Also dont forget to look online at the dealer site for discounts my dealer has 10% off parts coupon so that takes care of tax etc.
