I had the black striping lined up and some other fancy shmancy decor pieces, can't do it, this color is the best I've seen on anything, I can't get over it!!
She's a full load, HID's, glass roof, Nav, backup camera, auto trans, everything. What can I do for power without making it loud. I like the sound, maybe a bit throatier, but not crazy..
I re-programmed my sct tuner for the car instead of my supercrew, it's ready to go. I'm thinking intake, bassani hi flow catted x-pipe, maybe an axle-back to compliment this. 255/40-19's are shorter than the factory 245/45's so that mimic's a 3.40 gear ratio, slightly lower overall. With Ford Racing springs, struts, sway bar it should look good. How about headers, any making descent power without leaks or ticking?
Also, 87 octane is the preferred fuel, premium is a distant 2nd choice. Availability. I'd have to build myself a tank to get 91 octane hauled out with the commercial fuel trucks, not crazy about that.
Thanks and hammer away!!!

I disagree. I have the same care minus the glass roof, and auto trans. I dig the side skirts. With my old stang, the painted side skirts would scuff from people, including myself bumping your foot while getting in the car. This way, they will not scuff, if hardly and all it will take to get them back to good is some low-shine armor all!!!
Nice car man! I dig it!
EDIT: and as far as mods go, I don't know. I purchased mine to drive as-is. Mod's have never got me anything when I go to a vehicle a few years later. Good luck and I am sure someone with a bit more experiance on making your car fast enough to handle a 10' Camaro will come along to help soon!

The roads here are awful, the lower black trim is verfy welcome. I have an appointment with a detail shop to do the clear protective trim on the front, lower door line and behind the rear tires. I have the sct tuner programmed, next is an intake and high flow catted x-pipe, along with some 255/40-19 ps2's to lower gear ratio. Lots of open highway here, not sure I'll do gears, is anything I couldn't see going lower than 3.55's, long legs really suits the country here.
Thanks for the compliment on the looks, can't get enough of it myself

I got the same color and got the factory over the top stripe in flat black and it perfect for this color. The sad thing is the guy who put the vinyl on did and bad job and it looks like a first grader cut it. I am taking it back to the dealer to show him, and debating on if I should trade up for your rims you have on yours..I would add a pic but I'm on my phone and at work.. I love my job..
The camera is the middle of the spoiler, not a bad location really, dirt/dust doesn't collect on it much but water does, trade off I guess. You can see it in this pic
I added the clear rock guard on the front bumper, front sections of the fenders, 12" or so on the hood, the lower panels of the doors, some thin strips on the door edges to protect from hitting objects when opening (wife is notorious for this), a small tab on the fuel door, a piece on the rear bumper so items in/out of the trunk don't scratch, the mirror covers, and front facing pillars between the body and roof. Can't even tel it's there, perfect. I don't park for the winter, some nokian hak5's are next!!!
Thanks guys, I love the color too, planned on some stripes but I wouldn't dare cover up any of the beautiful paint.

I loove the Grabber Blue Mustangs. Great looking car by the way. As for Mods I like the CAI idea and the X-pipe and axle back. I was just curious so you did tune it with the SCT?

I haven't done the tune yet, putting on more break-in miles first. I'll be doing the 87 octane tune so the power won't be much of a difference if any but I hope to clean up the shift pattern, get it to shift at the actual 6,500rpm redline (shifts at 6,250rpm right now) and to correct the speedo, it's 2% fast right now, I hate that.

When you are ready for a tune, look us up, we have been tuning 2010's since April. Our 2010 is now a Saleen 435 S car but started out its life as a standard GT. We now have the C&L and JLT intakes in stock and getting ready to be on the website. JLT has a carbon fiber intake that looks very nice. If you think your car is fun now, wait till you have a tune for it.

Caron fiber for the JLT sounds cool!! i need a new piece of the elbow since mine is extremely worn down. do you make them for 05-09 also?
And thanks for showing me, it looks very well placed

We do carry the JLT for the 05-09 but they did not make a carbon fiber intake. If you want the carbon fiber look, Steeda has an upgrade to the carbon fiber elbow. It is not listed on the site but if your interested give us a call and we can get you into one of those. If you would like to replace your JLT inlet tube we can get you one of those as well.
