For my 17th birthday this past Friday I have recieved the best birthday present ever. My parents got me 2010 V6 Premium Mustang!
It is black exterior and black leather seats interior.
I am wondering what modifications I can do to my new car through-out the future to make it perform better, get better gas mileage, and look sharper.
What are the best mods you would say is worth getting?

for starters i hate you..lmaoo even though i love mine i wish my parents got me a 2010 like yours..second..welcome aboard..third start of with a cai and tune combo then get a nice exhaust and work up from there..since ur new to the mustang scene ill give you the link to a great site for your mustang part needs! well sounds like your parents got some money to play with talk them into a super charger or a turbo allthough it will void your warrenty thats some seat of your pants action right there

Oh man a supercharger lol not yet! They wouldnt allow me to void the warrenty or even think about getting one. I am thinking of getting a CAI and maybe silver or white strips.

Get some silver stripes. Black rims too. Black deep dish wheels with a polished aluminum bezel look great on a black mustang.

Otherwise I would leave it alone, it looks nice enough in stock form.

I like the ROUSH 427-R Striping Kit but I can not find where to get it. Does any one know where? I would like to get the kit in silver to put on my car eventually.

If you think your parents would give you some cash to have the stripes painted on, you would be better off. I had the vinyl stripes on my 06 V6 for about a year and they had already started to chip in a couple of places on the front bumper and hood. I ended up losing the stripes and had my hood painted 2-tone when I got the new Cervini's Concept Hood. The possibilities are endless, but I'd try to get it painted rather than using a vinyl kit.

SWEET Mustang you've got there! I had originally been skeptical of the new 2010 body style, but since I started seeing them more often, I want one bad now! haha Enjoy!

Any refence to any good window louvers? And would exterior parts void the warranty? What parts would and what would not void the warranty?

the best looking window louvers i've seen in person my opinion is the 3D Carbon , some venders sell them painted as well as unpainted for our 2010's

What parts would and would not void the warranty?

Each dealer will tell you different , get with a dealer that offers thier own speed shop and they will be able to give you a rundown . Most Ford racing parts bought and installed through a dealer will retain the warranty , but not all of them . only they can give you an accurate list of what will and wont .

I am guessing that this would cause prices to run higher because the Ford dealership would have to install everything, correct?
