17 Inch Wheels for Winter Tires

Until last week, I had a '09 Mustang GT (Standard) with the stock 17" wheels. I purchased a nice set of snow tires, which have approximately 10k miles on them. Unfortunately, I wrecked the '09 last week.

I just picked up a new '10 Mustang GT (Standard), which has the stock 18" wheels.

I would like to use my old snow tires this season. Question - Does anyone know whether there would be any problems with swapping 17" wheels onto my '10 GT?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

They'll fit just fine. You will have an uncalibrated speedometer though.

only if the tire height is different though......
