Default 2010 gt supercharging options

ok so I just got my 2010 GT a couple weeks ago. and somewhere down the line, I might put on a supercharger on it. First off, here are some things that is a must:

1. looking to achieve over 400 HP .... im thinking maybe the Roush?

2. not looking to break the bank. I dont want to spend over 5-6k including tax ( course if its $4999 thats fine)

3. Im no car expert at all. How would I order this and get it installed? I live in northern california and I don't know where to go to even get the supercharger installed

Ive been searching a little bit and noticed that the Roush still keeps your warrenty intact. so maybe thats my best option.....

if you could give me your opinion guys that would be great.

Maybe checkout the dealer and see what they have to install if you wanna keep the factory warranty???? Seems like Ford Racing would have something for you.

The Saleen 475 kit will also retain your factory warranty as well. We have installed this kit on many 2010's already and it has a nice fit and finish. The car will drive like stock and the blower is one of the most efficient setups out there. We have the Saleen supercharger on our 2010 shop car along with the Extreme CAI and the car makes well over 400rwhp, but that is with our own custom tuning (our Stage 3 pkg). The cost on the kit is 5849.99 and then $650 for install. This will be alittle over 6,000 dollars installed but will retain a 3yr/36k mile warranty. Please feel free to give me a call at 574.594.9559 ext 3 if you would like some more information or would like to know more about other options you may have.

Thanks,

Chandler

You think one could break into the 12's with this setup along with the Stock Pirelli P-zero 19" tires and a 3.73 rear-end?

I'm looking for the be all and end all to the "can I smoke a 10' Camaro question"

Yes the Stage 3 will get you into the 12s. I have an 05 with the Stage 3 and stock 355 gears. I ran a 12.6 @113. This was in the summer heat on stock Pirellis. There is alot of ET left but I will need sticky tires. I have trapped as high as 117. I figure with sticky tires and skinnies up front and an aluminum driveshaft I should be in the 11s.

This summer we ran 11.30 on 93 octane, Bogarts, aluminum driveshaft, and our standard stage 3 package. The 2010's are faster than the 2005-2009 from what we have seen. The base 475 kit should get you into the 12's no problem.

IMO spend the extra money and get the Saleen. You can get a Vortech for less but it doesn't have that nice Twinscrew power right off the line. Not to mention the Saleen looks almost stock

Why are the 2010s faster? Better aerodynamics? Also what you listed is almost exactly what I will be running next spring. Bogart D10s (because they are very similar to the stock 5 dual spoke wheels) driveshaft and MT ET streets. Hopefully I can get an almost as awesome time as the 11.3. Im hoping for high 11's but would be really shocked if I get into the mid 11's.

I am not sure all of the reasons why the 2010's are faster, they are lighter and they do have better aerodynamics. It shocked us too when it ran 11.30's. It made similar power to our other stage III kits, it just loves to go fast. With your mods, you should be in the 11's.

They also opened up the exhaust and tweaked the tuning and suspension. Still its only 1/10 second +/- faster.
