Exclamation 2010 Mustang GT Dim Drivers side blinder/parking light HELP!

I own a 2010 Mustang GT with about 1300 miles on it. I just noticed (not sure if it was like this from new- got it about a month ago) that the blinker on the drivers side is noticeably dimmer than the passenger side blinker light.
I pulled the bulb out on both sides to check if they are both lit the same brightness...they definitely appear so.
It seems that once i put the bulb back in the housing, the light is dimmer.
Has anyone had a housing issue with their 2010? Is is a reflector inside the housing issue?
Like I said the bulbs seem to be the same brightness- all the filaments are lighting so it's not a burnt out bulb...or a 'bad' ground...
ANY THOUGHTS would be appreciated. PLEASE REPLY.
Also has anyone taken a housing out on the 2010? IF so, how is it done and how hard is it to do?
THANKS!!!!

I just pulled the bulb socket...turned it out of the housing.

The bulb is working...all filaments are lighting...
I wanted to see about taking the housing out on my own if I could.

I would rather not bring it in if possible...I don't like having 'others' hands on my pony.

did you check to see if the printed wattage on the bulb is the same ??
we used to get a mixed in lesser wattage bulb in packaging in the parts dept every now and again , could also happen at the factory supplier level . you would be amazed at what is found in the wrong parts boxes sometimes .

UPDATE...I checked the housing ( went to my local Ford dealer lot today and put my car side-by-side with another 2010...and I definitely have a bad housing.
The 'orange' reflective area on mine is totally screwed up. I'm not sure what is wrong, but my driver side blinker looks dark/clear in comparison instead of being the rich orange color like my passenger side and like the other on the 2010 I was comparing to.

Has anyone elso had this issue?

AND does anyone have an idea how difficult it is to get the housing out? I know it's a warranty issue, but I would like to change the housing myself if possible (after I would get the part from the dealer).

I'm no expert on the 2010, but to replace a headlight on the 05-09 models, you basically need to undo a few screws & take of the front bumper.

I'm guessing it'd be something similar for your 2010. Good luck!

its a little more involved then i think you should do especially since if you try and mess something up your warranty will be void since you did it yourself. i'd have ford replace and install it for free honestly. Not that i don't have confidence in you, but its free, can't go wrong

I went in to my local Ford Dealer today and they are ordering a new drivers side headlight/blinker assembly housing.

I'll update with more news later on this just in case someone else ends up running into this
