Default Where are the hellion cars?

I've been interested in a tt kit for my car but my '11 had a whipple and and the instant power was addicting. How is the turbo lag in these setups and how do they compare to the blown cars?

Why'd you get rid of your 2011? Here's a link to a dyno graph of their single turbo kit. Looks like a pretty decent curve to me. I've seen some turbo dyno graphs that look like a nitrous hit but this one is pretty smooth, and it's their single turbo kit. To Hellion And Back .JPG Photo 29

There's only one hellion car on here and he's having a ton of issues with his car and it hasn't been tuned yet.

That is a misleading graph...It is in MPH so you don't know where the RPMs are...I have the single kit and it does sorta feel like a nitrous hit.

That may have been me...but I didn't have a ton of problems...my only problem was that tuner had a corrupt file and the tune wouldn't start my car...after three tunes he built a totally new file and worked like a charm!!...Car is totally Insane...Have yet to dyno tune it but have done a couple of data logs to get it right...will prolly dyno it the end of this month!

I wanted more so I decided to start over with a new Boss.

I was unaware you had the turbo too 6speed. I was referring to solo

Do you have a link to his thread? What kind of problems did he have? The install was pretty painless for me. Did it in my garage by myself mostly and only took about 14 hrs of work. Did have a friend help mount turbo and piping.

Have these guys started shipping kits yet? Last I saw they were taking orders but I haven't heard an update. Can't mess with their R&D though. They've been laying down 9's at the strip and killing it at the Texas mile. Their kit looks nice!

I wouldn't know as I am no where near in the market for a turbo/twin turbo setup for my DD Mustang. All I know is the Alpha car is fairly local to me and he loves his beast.

Turbos are fun but I would stick with what you already had if I were you. Instant torque and that whine is addicting lol. However, a friend of mine have the Paxton installed and that's the one I plan to go with. If money was no issue I would go with root type in a heart beat. I do understand when you feel like you want something different tho.

I read his thread and he doesn't know what his problem is...He rebuilt motor and added a turbo at the same time now he has a random misfire on #3 I believe...I highly doubt that has much to do with the turbo kit but maybe it does..I do know he is asking a lot out of that 3.7. I have this to say about turbos....It is a lot more install work period and shouldn't be done by a novice and the centri is a no brain install that anyone can do. But it is a total beast on the road or track. there are a million people with centris and pds...so a few of em have good numbers there are like 10 of us with turbos and most of us don't do the track that much...I will put my stock 6psi 6 speed mustang against any stock 6psi centri 6 speed mustang out there and I bet I can tell you what will happen. Shoot I will even let them have 8 psi for good measure because they are going to need it!!
