suspension question

So I have a 2011 GT with the brembo package. Now I know the suspension is different with the brembo and non brembo but I am not sure how different. I was looking into some suspension mods and what I should do or should not do based on already having the brembo upgrades. So far I did a set of Eiback Pro kit springs, and have steeda lca with relocating brackets in my room waiting to go on. What else does everyone recommend?

The only part of the Brembo package worth keeping in my opinion is the brakes. The suspension is still soft and mushy compared to aftermarket options.

I agree with Grimace (I seem to do that a lot). As far as what to change it really depends on your goals for the car and how you plan to use it. For a street setup I would add un adjustable upper control arm and some good dampers (Tokico D Spec adjustables, our Pro Actions are a great choice for nondjustable).

Beyond that, the sky is the limit, you can build a Watt's link equipped corner carver, a drag car, or anything you really want. Set realistic goals first, then choosing the parts will be easier as you'll know what fits with your plan and what would not be a good choice. IE if you plan to drag race you may want to add an anti-roll bar, but you won't want upgraded sway bars.

I take it to the track for fun but mainly its my daily driver. So ill install what I have. Then look into sway bars and upper control arms. After that ill actually sit down and decide what path I want to take. Thanks for your help

Do the upper control, but hold off on the sway bars until you decide your goal. Its best to save the sway bars for after the basics are done and use the sway bars to dial in the last bit to get it where you want. On the street you will only make use of upgraded sway bars under hard cornering.

^^What he said.

Here's the suspension setup I used on my car and it works really well:

I also have the same one. I installed KONI STRT (if you want to adjust KONI sport), Steeda sport springs. Immediate improve on handling and looks with this setup. Increased my rear tire size to 275/40R19 with Michelin Super Sport, and planing to do the same on front. Great choice of tire, increased the grip of my car by a lot. ( I know thay it is better with 19 x 9.5 wheels. But not planing to do that ($). Next improvement will be adjustable front and rear swaybars, adjustable phb (watts link is better, but for much more $). And then a sport alignment to finish it. My car is a DD and just ocassional track time.

2011 Mustang GT Premium, Brembo, 3.73. Steeda Sport springs & KONI STRT. GT500 strut mounts. Rear CS style pedestal spoiler. Eleanor style side scoops, "C" style side decals. Black pony.
