Anyone run Kooks/Steeda Axleback with O/R midpipe?

Curious if anyone on here is running the Kooks or Steeda axleback with an offroad X or H pipe. I would like to hear how it sounds!

This would be without resonators. How much difference in sound do the factory resonators make?

Practically none. I am having mine replaced with a set of actual mufflers(Pypes M80) to cut down on the rasp and overall volume.

Disagree here. I have kooks and a off road x and after deleting the resonators it made a world of difference. Both an increase in volume and rasp was noticed.

Have any sound clips?

I dont have any sound clips but my brother has Steeda axelbacks with lethals off road X and it sounds good. Not too loud at all they would probably be a good set of mufflers if you were going to do Headers and not wake up the neighborhood

I guess I should have worded it differently. I believe the factory resonators have no value in cutting down rasp and volume compared to actual mufflers. My current setup with resonators is exceptionally loud and raspy, hence my decision to replace them with mufflers.

Sorry pickles, I have no clip for you. Even though it's loud and a bit raspy, it sounds epic. Do it!

Not sure what that means but it's a full catback.

Well...if you REALLY want to get technical, the first part of the exhaust is the header. The second part is the mid pipe which consists of the "converter sections" and the "crossover section" but is still part of the mid pipe which holds the cats. So anything behind the "crossover" area, I suppose you could call a "catback" because it is the next piece behind the cat sections.
