I bought a base 2018 GT with A10 and PP and 301A package in early January. I traded in a loaded 2016 ScatPack Challenger. I don't miss the NAV at all since i have android auto in the GT. I like the interior and the Tech of the 2018 but still can't bring myself to really like the exterior styling. for me the 2013 and 2014 GT's were better looking. I much prefer the S197 solid rear axle as well. even with 460 hp the 2018 is just like the 2011-2013's i owned and has very little bottom end torque. I swear my wife could drive it as a daily driver and never have a clue that it is close to an 11 second car. it's that docile when the shifter is in D mode.

Got a link?

I hope it's not at the loss of the V8 in some displacement (even if 4.6L or a bit smaller).

Is it really true that the 2020 mustang has the '12 front end, the '14 back half with engine options 2 cylinder ecoboost or GT500 supercharged from the '19? That seems to be what 'they' are saying. Internet don't lie.

I'm in.

If in 2019,they would NOT have the Coyote V8 engine as we know it today, the price of the 2011-2018 Mustangs would really go UP.

The 2019 Mustang is not out yet,but I just read some info on the 2018 Gen 3 Coyote engine in the Mustang,it seems like Ford has (2) problems with this new engine design (1) valve springs are breaking (2) has to do with that spray in cylinder liner,as they increased the bore size, and no longer use the sleeve like we have in our engines. Some of these new engines are getting piston slap, cylinder scoring, and a rapping sound in as little as 500 miles. Most new owners have given up on the idea of doing any upgrades to there car for fear of no warranty coverage in case of an engine failure.I wonder if this will also be an issue in the 2019 model year,I hope Ford gets this figured out.

Me too. I personally love the new design, and was hoping to get a used one when the prices drop into my range. But if the engines are garbage I'll have to rethink that.

The 2018 looks OKAY with the right body kit and cosmetic mods. I like the Roush body kits for example. That said, my 2014 Retro Styling looks better...

I sure hope they are able to make the new Coyote design changes as durable as mine. I would hate to buy one and not have a straightforward upgrade path if the mood were to hit me. With positive attitude I say "Ford will figure this out, and fix it". I'm never a 1st round adopter for just such reasons however. We'll just have to wait and see what shakes out.

I disregarded her comment as she was compairing it to her tiny 2014 Escape and so almost anything will have a large appearing hood to her.

Interesting to see a Mustang driver have the same comment about the length of the hood. It didn't bother me and the feeling of the interior more than made up for any hood length in my mind.

That is what I loved about the 2015 Mustang, on a 2018 Mustang you do not have a football field hood anymore

It's ugly but the performance of the A10 GT is undeniable.
