14 GT Automatic Shifter

Hi everyone. This is my 1st post.I see that there is no shifter handle for the 14 Gt with select a shift.I was wondering if anyone has tired to fit the Hurst 5380435 Billet/Plus Pistol Grip Handle in a 14 GT.My plan is to add paddle shifters or modify the handle the fit the OEM buttons.Any help would be great

Odd, my '14 has a +/- button on the left side of the shifter to change gears. From reading your post, are saying there is no shift knob?

Sounds like the OP has the auto with select shift buttons but is looking for an aftermarket option to replace it.

OP - I also have a ‘14 auto with the stock select shift buttons. I haven’t seen an aftermarket unit nor I have I looked for one. Please do keep us updated if you find something or find a way to modify to paddle shifters (would be an interesting mod!)

People have tried to make aftermarket ones, but with no luck. Something about the way the select shift in there is set up is making it not possible. That's why you can find them for 11/12, but not 13/14.

I do have the buttons on my shifter.I I picked up a used Hurst 5380435 shifter for a 15 GT ($100).I am a Mill Wright by trade .I will see if it the Hurst shifter fits.if it does then I have 3 options.1st option Hurst sells the side grips(Hurst 1539001 Replacement Pistol-Grip Side Plates) I will see if I can machine them for the factory buttons to fit in.2nd option I have a B&M grip that comes per wired.(BM 81164 Shifter).I was planning on using them for the Line Loc,Transbrake.3rd option if the Hurst shifter fits and works and I can not get the gripe to go on properly then I will go with a wireless paddle shifter(Hebbler Designs)
