Well that may be hard to say...if it gets a new 5.0 32v motor and 6 spd and Brembo brakes, safe to say it may be around $32000+ ...I base that on the 2010 being 30,000...the question the comes to my mind is what is the most you would pay for a new Mustang...to me $30K+ is way too much. I'd rather buy a 05-06 for 15K and put $10K of mods on it and it would run circles around almost any car: plus I'd still have $5000 left over.

i doubt that it would go up all that much. considering that, when the 99 came out, it was priced at 24 965, and 5 years later when the 2005 came out the base price was about 25700 for the base model gt
so maybe the base model gt for 2011 will be around 27k plus the dealership bullcrap i say around 29
2010gt premium base price $30,995.00 .Brakes could be $1000.00 and you know there has to be some kind of price bump for the new eingine.Their going to need to recover some of the cost for research and development for the new engine.My Guess $32-33,000

YEAH, I WAS THINKING RIGHT AROUND $33000-34000 also. If that is what the increase is going to be, i will wait for the 2011. Also, does anyone know if the pricing details will be announced at the LA Auto Show when they announce the 5.0 for 2011? Thanks for the input.
I haven't read anything about pre pricing, one thing is that the coyote engine will be in the F150s as well so that should help keep the R/D cost spread around...I'm not sure why they needed "another" dohc engine...I felt they really never fully developed the old ones...
Here's a pic of the 5.0 coyote, I'd wait for sure since this is purported to put out 400hp, have a 6spd and Brembo brakes. Rumors of a Boss in 2012 are next...ahh "the waiting is the hardest part"..Tom Petty

Agree with VA... IMO they've been building some artificial fluff into the pricetag of the stang so that their doesn't need to be a drastic price difference between the current model and the new one.
I actually have somewhat of a theory on this, (and this is just me pulling ideas out of my butt) I think Ford may have seen that the additional price tag didn't hurt their sales much, if at all. Seeing as that was the case, they were able to cut in to the profit a bit on each machine and offer improved components. Again, just me throwing ideas out, but it would be interesting to see the profit margins on each Stang for the past several model years.

my 2010 Premium was 34k after all the options... I talked the dealer to 31k.
Factor in a track pack + brembo breaks you could see that price tag around 35-37 (after options and tags). but You could probably talk them down do 32k.
The GT Deluxe starts at 28k, not far from the 2009 deluxe price. If you ask me they haven't factored in any price inflation on the 2010, maybe just enough to cover cosmetic changes.
To think they won't increase the price of the 2011 that comes with all knew mechanical parts and upgrades is a little bit of wishful thinking if you ask me. But from a market standpoint you better believe Ford and Dealers are gonna capitalize on their new packages.
I'd say a Premium 2011 with 5.0 will be around 35-38 on the lot. Convertible 36-40k depending on where you're located. But expect to talk both down to around 33-34k. But I'll tell you dealers won't cut it down much, they know people want this car to death.
