2012 Pony package wheels

I was reading on here that the wheels on 2012 Pony package cars will be different than the wheels on the 2011 cars. I looked at the pictures on the 2012 ordering guide and i dont know enough to tell what the difference will be. Does anyone have pictures or information about the differences in 2011 / 2012 Pony package wheels ?

If look at the Pony package and the MCA package, the MCA looks like 2011 Pony package and the 2012 Pony Package looks different to me.

Yeah I agree the 2012 Pony Package are different than before. The MCA and the 2010-2011 Pony Package wheels are the same except they are a smoked chrome rather than just a bright chrome color. Same wheel though.

I like those 2012 pony wheels better than the 2011s...

Yeah, the new pony package wheels are much better looking for 2012. To me they are reminiscent of the SVTPP wheel design.

Yeah, they are different. The 2011 pony package ones are not that pretty in my opinion.
Here is a picture of my mustang in the dealer the day i got it as present.

Well, I stand corrected. There is a subtle difference. I like it better too! Cool!

Thankyou for the pictures and info gentlemen. I liked the 2011 wheel and the new one looks good also. Both are better than the painted wheels in my opinion.

While we are on the subject of wheels, anyone know if the wheels on the performance package have changed for 2012 ?

Those pony package front end treatments are pretty sharp.

And dag, I must have been asleep, I had seen the all-text PDF but hadn't seen this one with the pictures. Are there any other materials out there with pictures floating around that I might have missed besides this one?

Scott | 2012 GT Premium Coupe • Performance White • 6R80 • HID • 64M Wheels • Ford All-Weather Pony Mats & Trunk Liner • GT500/GT Rear Mud Flap Set • Ohio's Horses License Plate • Raxiom Aero Tails

If you love your dog, get a microchip, they really work! My lost dog was back home in just under 24 hours thanks to the good citizens who called the county and the microchip that told animal control exactly where he lived.

I think they look like a mix of the 2011 Pony and the 2007 Shelbys.

There actually the same wheel on the pony package. One is a rendering (drawing) and the other is a picture. If you look at the shapes closely they are the same. It's a U shape followed by a triangle. The actual ones in the picture are slightly bigger than a U shape but if you look at the center hub one goes all the way to the hub and the triangle stops short of the hub. Same thing just that the drawing is off. The brochure says 18" polished aluminum, which is how it was described in the 2011 build and price website.
