We had a 5XR on our lot just recently with a few additional upgrades on top of the standard 5XR equipment. (Read: big brake kit, extra louvers, etc...)
As far as I've read, the Roush should outperform a stock GT500 in most every way. The price tag would be relatively close by the time you added those extras to the Roush though. (Within 7k I bet). Of course that means you have to find a dealer who will sell you the GT500 at sticker to compare.
The big difference in my mind is that the Roush will be 2-3 times more exclusive. It's also a bit more "flashy". If you are looking for those 2 qualities and want to save between 5-10 grand depending on options, pricing, etc... then go for the Roush.
