I bought GT500 caliper, it was cheaper than coating my stock ones. I went with Hawk HPS pads. If you want less dust look for a ceramic based pad then tend not to dust as much.

I thought the GT500 caliper was the same? Yes, I had semi metallic ceramic based pads on my last car. I had chrome wheels and could go 2 weeks/hundreds of miles without showing dust. My 12 GT Brembo won't go 20 mins/2 miles without showing dust.

Sorry, realize I probably over reacted. 9-10psi boost; I guess longevity is always a concern but as soon as I finish the Cobra I'm going to have a shortblock built for the GT. For now just giving it hell and hoping for the best.

12s would fit if you take off the shock boot; The calipers are the same for the gt500 but flat black didn't fit what I was going for. I sold my brembo calipers, lines, and rotors in a package deal for more than I paid for my new stuff.

good stuff.......let me know how it works out.......were running similar setups but I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about the long run.....I will be doing rods and pistons soon as well as the boss intake you are running...after lowering compression I will up the boost to 15lbs or so

I like everything about your car. Especially the new wheels. Its nice to see someone do nice wheels that are different from the RTR style of wheel.

I do have a question tho. Forgestar 18's will clear on cars with the Brembo package? And is there anything special you had to do to get them to fit, especially the back wheels?

Just bolt them on. If I had it to do over again I might try and fit a 18x12 on the back...these are fender flush but there's a 1/2" on the inside to the shock boot, without the boot you might get another inch in there.

My car is on H&R race springs (measured 1.75" drop) my tires are almost a full 1 1/2" shorter than stock. So just realize your car will be slammed. Me boss transmission cooler and front lip are less than 3" off the ground, but the car handles like it's on rails.

How much backspacing is left in the front? Do you think a 9.5 or 10 is possible? With a 295?

Front is an 18 x 9 with a 275/35. I'm not sure how much bigger you could go on the front.

The car handles great with the combo of Koni SRTs, H & R race springs, and FRPP sway bar bushings. I had been driving the car on slicks and skinnies so it's been a phenomenal difference.
