Angry Help ! 2012 performance package wheels. Curb scratched.

Hello .
I'm new to this forum but I will really appreciate your help .I managed to scratch one of my lovely rim ,now it looks really ugly. I tried to search internet to find out who makes those rims and how much they cost . The scratch seems deep and its 3 of them ... Could you guys tell me if you know where to get them ? Maybe someone had the same problem with those particular ones ? Thank You

Been there, done that

So sad! The first week after I brought Black Beauty home my son in law curbed the front right wheel on a parking divider. He cried, and trembled as he told me. I was happy he did it first! The low profile is especially vulnerable. I didn't bother to do anything about it that year, but after I curbed two more this summer on a trip to Philly, I decided to have them repaired. Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists Ottawa did a great job of repairing and repainting the wheels. It was about $175 for two wheels and $125 for the less damaged one. I almost bought a new set, but the cost was unreasonable.

Merry Christmas, and get it fixed...

Just a reminder that the V6 Performance package 19 wheel has a darker black / grey paint colour than the GT/CS 19 inch wheel ( other than the paint colour the wheels are identical)....

To me, on a street car that is driven everyday, stuff like that is inevitable. I buy my cars to drive, and yeah I get pissed when I curb a wheel but unless it's super bad it doesn't bug me as much as it used to.

I did the same to two of my gtcs wheels. Went to a local repair shop and they made them look better but since they have a special machined finish to get them repaired to new would take the work of multiple shops and a lot of cash. They smoothed the edge out and made sure the wheels were still solid, good enough for now!

Actually that isn't correct. GT/CS wheels have a engraved GT on one spoke.

+1. Especially if you live in a place where you have to do a lot of curbside parking (such as new york).

I've only done it once, in my last Accord Coupe before I came back to Ford in '09, but the only way to get it out of your crawl is to bite the bullet and get it replaced.

Chances are its a trick you won't be repeating.

If you love your dog, get a microchip, they really work! My lost dog was back home in just under 24 hours thanks to the good citizens who called the county and the microchip that told animal control exactly where he lived.
