2011 Mustang GT - More Bolt-On Power Desired

OK fellow forum members, I need help making a decision on additional mods to add more HP without going to forced air systems. I've done the basics, with aftermarket x-pipe, AB exhaust, CAI and a custom tune. Dyno'd at 385 hp at the wheels. I'd be happy to get that over 400. I've done lots of research and I'm thinking a larger throttle body and weighing whether to add the Boss 302 intake. Car used as daily driver and for cruising during the summer. No plans for racing...yet. What will the Boss intake really do for me? Should I do both intake and throttle body, or one or the other? Help push me on the right path.

2011 GT Premium 6M convertible. Sterling Gray w/401A package, charcoal seats w/grabber blue stripe. Security package. Roush front fascia, splitter and rear wing. Black bullit wheels with 18x9 front, 18x10 rear. FRPP suspension. FRPP x-pipe. Roush axle-back exhaust w/square tips. JLT carbon fiber CAI with custom tune. Carbon fiber engine cover & coil pack covers.

Did you read the OPs question..."with out forced induction".... Not everybody wants a supercharger dude!.. I know you paid some super fancy shop to put yours on mustang ||, but some people just want to stay NA. Your answer to every power out put question is"just get a supercharger"... He doesn't WANT one!!

Boss intake ,Long tube Headers , TB , O/R X or H or Cat Deletes will get you to 440-450 whp and dont listen to all the torque loss BS with the Boss intake but if you get it you must be willing to rev past 7000.

Blower and stuff

622 whp and 545 wtq @ 8.5psi
AED Tune = Best mod of all

How much do you want to spend? Are you considering head porting or cams? Just wondering as I know you can really pick up some extra HP that way.

I would do the LT's and the Boss IM, you can always come back and add the TB. I'm running all three and just added the Boss IM and my tuner nailed my tune which I believe is the difference. LT's just bring so much opportunity to the table with your overall curve. I had awesome results with the boss IM, lost nothing down low and around 5k its like a shot in the arm.

So what I'm hearing is the long tubes are my best bet. Will that alter the rest of the exhaust system, i.e. will I need to do something else by adding the long tubes? Just trying to get an idea of what I need.

Will the Boss intake only help at higher RPM? Obviously on the street, the RPM's don't stay high very long.

I see mixed reaction on the throttle body? Wouldn't a larger TB help since it allows for more air flow?

The TB gets mixed reactions cause there has been mixed results, some have seen gains and some have not and the gains are limited, I personally think it is a great compliment and is a contributing factor as to why I lost nothing down low, along with the LT's. Burke has one and is having positive results and has provided feedback from real world experience.

If you can afford it, I would do all 3 and then pay to have one dyno tune to maximize the components. I did mine one piece at a time, TB, LT's then IM and everything really came together when I added the Boss IM, like it was the missing piece, along with my updated tune that was really dialed in!!! Got some suspension upgrades to make and I'm done.

If I were you I would do the o/r Steeda pipes there like $139 retune it to see we're your at as far as rwhp. If you need more slap on the Kooks or American racing headers LT's. deleting the cats make a big difference on these cars...
