New package from AM!

Just got my rims from American Muscle. It will be raining here in Michigan all I week I think so Ill have to try an hold off on installing them. Here are some pictures tho. I hope nothing is damaged. The UPS guy dropped them off and dipped so fast.
One question, there are some weights attached to one of the wheels...are they extra weights?

IM SO EXCITED!!

Great looking wheels! I love the Bullitt wheels, they're going to look awesome on your Mustang.

We don't ship our Wheels with extra weights so unfortunately it looks like the weights came off of the back of the wheel. Give my CS team a call and we'll definitely get you squared away! Most likely well have you head over to a local shop and have them just re balance it, should only take about 5 minutes. We will then reimburse you! If this is okay with you.

Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

I bet your wife wasn't too happy about the car parts in the dining room and on the stairwell :nogrinner. Good looking wheels though. I like anything retro and those are similar to the old American Racing Wheels I had in the sixties .

Having issues mounting wheels

UPDATE
Mounted the front/back driver side wheels today just to see how they fit. They look great but Im having some issues...

The weights on the front wheel interferes with the brake calipers and prevents full rotation. The weights from american muscle were huge and no way would clear the breaks so I removed them. The new weights I got after rebalancing them at Walmart were smaller, but still make contact with the brakes.

So, what do I do now? Are these wheels too small for my car? They are 18x9/10. Even if the weights were repositioned, the breaks are extremely close to the rim and just barely clear. Is that something I should be worried about?

Wow thats real close...I guess bigger wheels would have been fine for the weights, but the brake caliper is still close regardless or size.

Yeah that is not good, you have no clearance minimum should be at least 1/4" but for me I would rather see 1/2" clearance.

Before you ruin the wheels, I would take them off asap.

Check with AM for fitment, or get them swapped out.

are your brakes standard?
