Best place to buy Procharger for 3.7

For the guys with the Prochargers where did you buy them ? I deal a lot with American Muscle, but if I get the tuner kit for my 2012 auto. from them, they dont have colder range spark plugs, injectors etc. At least not listed on their site. I notice CFM motorsports lists all this stuff though. Any feedback much appreciated.

I haven't purchased one myself, but cfm or lethal would probably be a good way to go. I've also has good experiences with stage3 providing items that weren't previously available through them, and price matched no less. Honestly, there's a lot of good companies to buy through, you can't go far wrong with any of them.

What i need to do first is call Walsh Motor Sports in Wixom Michgan to see if they will tune a supercharged 3.7. They do a lot of 5.0 cars and did a good job with mine. Because Procharger is dragging their feet on tunes, a tuner kit looks like the only avenue once I pull the plug.
I am really surprised that Vortec has not come out with a kit for the 3.7. I mean with the number of cars on the road and the potential of the 3.7 engine it is puzzling.

I agree, I honestly expected some kind of announcement from vortech a year ago. Its only a matter of time before more of us show what these engines are capable of, before demand goes up, and before more manufacturers recognize the profit potential on the 3.7 (imo)

Slight OT, why does a Procharger cost almost as much as a crate 5.0? Is a supercharger really that high tech or are you paying for the exclusivity of the part?

Before you get excited, be aware that swapping from a 3.7 to a Coyote is an expensive proposition. You're dealing with much more than just the engine. A 3.7-to-Coyote swap costs about $13k if you do it right (electrical, cooling, a/c should be factored in), and then you still end up with just 420hp. A Procharger will cost from $5-9k to install right, and you'll end up with about 475hp.

I think that when a manufacturer developes a new product, they try to recover the cost. Ive noticed that the superchargers for the new 5.0 and 3.7 are a lot more expensive than those for older applications.
We also need some competition. When there is only one company selling superchargers ( as in the 3.7 case) well, you figure it out.

Yup, the only 'swap' from 3.7 to Coyote that should even be considered is driving to Ford and trading in your 3.7 on a GT!

I think the FI options for the 3.7 cater more towards the folks that saw the value in the V6 but later wanted more power. Sometimes it's easier to purchase a $20K base vehicle, pay it down and then go for the speed. The 3.7 is a great option for this type of buyer.

I did not mean swapping a 5.0 into a stock sixer car. I simply meant the street price to buy a stock street motor engine (a 5.0 for example) in a box is on par with the cost to purchase a Procharger

Sorry for the confusion
