Throttle body went out

So I had to get my throttle body fixed. My car went to limp mode ( scary crap, thought it was dying) sounded like it any way. Any way, anybody have an idea why this happened?!?! I know I'm a led foot but could that have caused that to happen.

Electronics can fail. This is the first one I've heard of going bad though. I'm using a bbk TB with factory electronics included and it's running great.

Never heard of the electronics taking a dump like that but stuff can fail for no reason. You just got an unlucky one.

What "went out" on the TB?

The actuator motor went bad or what???

Ford uses the same TB actuator on lots of different applications, very few go south.

I don't know really, all I know is the ETC light came on and then it choked up. That's when limp mode kicked in. Everybody I know said its cuz I " get on it" lol I just know it's fixed but I defiantly don't want that to happen again.
