....for YEARS I wanted a Mustang...and I mean YEARS.
Unfortunately I could never afford a decent one, and the ones I could afford were so chopped up and rusted out that they were not fit for the road.
Well, last fall I walked headstrong into a career that allowed me to purchase my 2012 V6 premium with a number of options.
It was bone stock, clean and totally rust free.
Right now, I have an SCT X4 with the SCT tunes on it. I put a 91 octane tune on her the other day, but I can't really drive it. I have it set aside for the winter months until the salt is gone off the roads.
I want to throw some upgrades at her....like upgrade to OEM HIDs, do the GT front brake conversion, lower it with proper relocation brackets, panhard bar, etc and whatever else I can do to make her stick to the road.
255/45R18's are coming this spring (Goodyear eagle F1 asymmetric).
What are some other things that can be done to make it handle better?
I know the stock 2 piece D/S is a ticking time bomb, but is the 2013 aluminum one any better? Can I swap a 2013 D/S into a 2012?
