Smile 2011 Mustang GT Best Tires

Hi everyone, I am about to purchase new rims for my car, the sizes are 18" by 8" on the front and 18" by 10" on the back. I was wondering which would be the best tires for getting the most traction, but also tread life. I also would like the staggering look. I would like drag radials on the back but it seems they don't last long at all. I was wondering which brand of tires and which size. Thank you for your help.

I've heard nitto invos have great traction. Haven't tried them yet myself but I will probably replace the stock 18s with them.

Another tire to look at is the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110. Recommended tire sizes are 255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 rear. Prices are reasonable as well, $157 and $192.

I second that, I wish they made more sizes so I could get these for my 20's

If you are looking for maximum traction then these are good choices:

NITTO Extreme Performance NT555R Drag Radial 305/35-18

TOYO Proxes R888 305/35-18

Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II 305-35-18

They will work on a 10" wheel.
