Hello,

I live in California and there for can only get 91 octane fuel. Are there additives I can buy, or that someone could recommend, that will make my new Boss smile?

Find a Sonoco Station out there that has some street legal (even in Cali) with that great "StreetBlaze-100" Octane!!..........You rig will run like a Banshi on crack!!........We can get VP MS-109 unleaded and Sonoco GT-260 Plus 105 Octane here in CT. ...............But as far as adding additives to regular gas station out of the pump gas?....When I was running a super aggressive 93 Race tune in my '11, and I was worried about Detination, I would Only trust NOS octane booster, as it can raise 16 gallons of gas up a whole 6 octane numbers!!........Most people don't realize that if an octane booster claims to raise your octane rating by 3-9 Points, that is LESS than 1 octane number. because the formula is (10 Points=1 Octane number) And the NOS brand guaranties a raise of 60 Points!! which is a TRUE 6 Octane numbers......A bottle of NOS Octane Boost cost 15 bucks here in CT.................Sean

I would not think so ........But I would Not tell them if you had a problem with your rig........Don't EVER Give a company a chance to give you the o'l HA-HA....That's what MUST have caused the such and such problem!!!...........Sean

I put 100 octane gas in once at Laguna Seca and did not notice the difference from 91.

Stock tune is designed with MBT timing for 91 octane so you are correct without more aggressive timing curves running over 91 octane on a stock tune is pointless.
