Got my mind set on a Roush kit for my 2012 GT, just cant figure out what place to get it from. I like the Brenspeed 650R kit but also realy interested in the 700HP kit Evolution sells too. Ive researched both quite a bit and still cant make up my mind. Could any one that may have one of these kits on there ride chime in on what made you go with ether Brenspeed or Evolution. Thanks
I live in Carol Stream so you're not far from me. So I recommend going to actually with Brenspeed since they are close by in Indiana. Go there, get it installed and dyno tuned by them. They are very good at what they do and are very experienced with the roush TVS
/\ I went to school in Carol Stream at the MB training site.
+1 on Brenspeed as a great shop. I haven't done business with Evolution so to know for sure OP you should call them and see who wants your business more.

Thats one of my thoughts 5Litre, I'm kinda stuck on who might be the better tuner. I am a little concerned about Brenspeed because i heard they were having some tuning issues with a JLT intake install on there 700hp kit that has not come out yet. Evolution has been running a JLT on there kit for quite some time now.

Hi in case you have not seen it I put a link to the video below of our 650R kit. It has perfect drivability and everybody has been really happy with it. We have a couple in the shop this week if you are close enough to stop by and check them out installed. We also have a 700R kit that is not on our website yet that includes a Roush CAI. We will work on getting that up this week.
As far as the JLT there is a bit of misinformation above. There are no tuning issues with the JLT, we have them on both of our NMRA 5.0L cars. We have not spent the time developing that package for mail order as we had so many projects in front of it. We have never just put a customers car on the dyno with a part and then released that package for mail order. We spend a lot of time with our engineering cars first before anything is released and that is just one thing that has had other projects ahead of it.
I have a long list of items I would love to offer for mail order but it's just one thing at a time. We have spent months developing our Stryker Supercharger packages for Explorers and Sport Tracs which is now complete, all of our Roush 3V and 5.0L packages, and now 5.0L and 6.2L truck supercharger packages. It all takes time..... I will be honest I love JLT intake and we need to get that finished but again a few dyno runs does not justify a mail order package at Brenspeed. I will try to bump JLT up on the list as I do love Jay's products and I know a lot of people with them want our calibration.
Don't hesitate to call us with questions or shoot an email to sales@brenspeed.com, or come in for a tour and check out a few of the Roush 5.0L cars we have in the shop this week. 574.594.9559

Evolution has the worst customer care ever. I'd never spend so much money at a shop like them and risk ever hearing back from them when something goes wrong. Brenspeed is awesome. I am running their tune in my NA coyote. Their roush 650 kit makes me dribble but can't afford it yet.
You might however wanna check out VMP for their roush packages. VMP is one of the most experienced roush tuning company which develops their own pulleys and does a lot of research including with JLT. Search you tube. Brenspeed or VMP you can't go wrong with either one of them.
I plan to use AM to buy the blower and then use VMP for tuning and a smaller pulley. I also plan to use VMP for modifying the injectors to flow 71 lb/hr. I've seen and heard good things about them!!
I had a Brenspeed tune in my engine and was very satisfied with it. When I went to a supercharger, I wanted a Procharger and Brenspeed did not carry them or I would have gotten my blower and tune from them. Im sure whatever you chose if Brenspeed has their name on it, it will be good.
Did you pull the trigger yet and get the supercharger? I have the bug and been looking. I can't imagine the amount of questions these guys (Brenspeed, VMP, Roush, Evo...etc) get from would-be customers (until I buy, that includes me!) so I don't expect an instant reply when inquiring. I haven't inquired with all the aforementioned companies but will say, Brenspeed has been awesome to deal with so far. The videos, the fact they have another shop opening and a guest house for out of town guests! This just seems like a company that wants to do everything right! I'm in NY, don't know these guys at all, just offering my .02.

I just ordered my roush tvs tuner kit with 85mm pulley, stock airbox and VMP performance tune.
I almost pulled the trigger on vortech. But ended up with roush. Apparently vmp can make these 575 hp stock kits deliver 530rwhp with stock airbox and 85mm. I wanna try the feeling of sc first and later upgrade to 82mm. Looks like after 8psi, every psi delivers just about 20-30rwhp in exchange for much higher running temperatures.
