Bolts and tape. Why you want to take it off? What you gonna do with the holes?

I have a 2012 and I did remove mine last year with the intent to make it functional. In addition to the tape all the way around and the four studs with nuts, there are four push pins going through the hood. There are no access holes for the push pins and I doubt you could pull them out without damaging the scoop or hood paint. They are pretty heavy duty, much stiffer than the pins holding the underhood heat blanket, for example.
I actually drilled access holes on the underside of the hood and cut the pins off to get the scoop off. Doable, but a PITA. YMMV.
