Can you run your stock coils with drag struts and get good performance. I dont wont to lower my car. Every coil i see seems to lower the car. I would maybe lower the back .5 inch to even the car out. Im running a larger tire in the back and a smaller tire in the front. Race star rims. What can i do??? thanks
I run Koni yellows on my car with stock springs, I have a friend who runs Koni orange with his stock springs. We both love the ride, and handling with aftermarket struts shocks. Both of us feel much better handling, and not lowering the car we avoid having to do control arms, panard bars, camber plates, or other steering components you may need when lowering
The only other thing you might need are upper strut mounts, like GT500 mounts
In my case the install of the new struts/shocks only took about a hour or so

I installed a set of Steeda adjustable upper mounts, but the guy who installed the stutts measured the camber with a little magnetic gauge, and just set it the same. I had the allignment checked after and it was spot on, though my toe was out a little so they adjusted the toe
If you havn't had it alligned in a while it would be a good idea to have it done anyways
