Default Removing lower control arms

I was trying to see under my car ( 2011 GT) and I cannot see where the emergencty brake cables go. When you remove the lower control arms, are the cables hard to get unhooked ? I see they go through the factory control arms so guess they have to come off somewhere to get the new conttrol arms on. Anyone done this ?

It unclips from the rear caliper. Just use a screwdriver to pry it loose, with the emergency brake disengaged. Afterwards, just wire tie it to the new control arms.

So I presume you have to have the wheel off . I was thinking it might have unhooked from the other end as I was going to run the car up on ramps.

Yep, wheels need to be off to do this. My car is lowered and I use ramps, then jack it up, and put it on stands.

OK Entrenched . Thanks for the help. And thankyou for the offer with the parts. I think what I am going to do first is try lower control arms and see what it does about the wheel hop before going any further. I like the Steeda CAI I have. Workmanship is excellent. So I think I might try their lower control arms.
