I've read on other forums that an internal Ford letter specifies July 21st as the last order date for Yellow Blaze. Can anyone confirm this or have additional details? If true, it seems Yellow Blaze would be a very scare color to have.

That stinks because I when I bought my Kona Blue last month I *really* wanted a Yellow Blaze, but there were only 2 I could find in the whole country that met my specs (Convertible, GT....). One got bought before the dealer in Ohio could get me the info, the other one had a bunch of exterior options I didn't like.
If I knew they were discontinuing I would have sucked it up and got the last one with the big spoiler/side scoops, etc...ugh.
While I am not aware of any offical info ref the color being discontinued, here is a bit of anectdotal evidence: last Friday 8/5 I was part of a plant tour at the Flat Rock plant. We were in there for over two hours, and we saw literally a couple hundred Mustangs in various stages of production. Every color available was there, EXCEPT the Yellow Blaze. Not a single vehicle in that color.
Based on that alone I say it is history already... or it could be just a big coincidence too.
When I asked my dealer about discontinued paint colours about a week or two ago he said only Lava Red was finished and Kona Blue could only be ordered certain ways, but the way I ordered it was fine. Nothing about Yellow Blaze was mentioned. According to the numbers released last year out of 68,650 mustangs only 590 were Yellow Blaze. The colour is just rare.

Yup and I think less than half were 5.0. I would love to get a number of all Yellow Blaze cars produced in the 1 year run from Job 2 last year through Job 1 this year. The first thing everyone says about my car is they never saw the color before and how much they like it.
I'm guessing but I would say there were less than 1200 produced with this color for them to discontinue it.

I feel really lucky, I didn't know it was so rare until I found one in Houston Texas and had it brought to Dallas. The Dealer said out of 300 dealers this was the only GT CS Yellow Blaze Met. Tri-coat in 6 speed automatic left. Traded my 2007 GT kept the same payment. Charles

Na, they grow like weeds in Houston we can't get rid of them fast enought.
