I just sold my 07 gt to my father in law in Australia for a good bit of money. I'm about to buy a 13 gt once I get to Texas. I'm so stoked. Having trouble deciding between grabber blue, deep blue or candy red(which I really like). Also, with a warranty, if I have dealership put things on for me, is my warranty still good? Track package worth it? Thanks in advance. Also, those of you who have it already, which exhaust setup did you go with? Cat back or axle back?
Certain FRPP products installed by your dealer will maintain a limited warranty. I say limited because most of the FRPP stuff is warranted for 12 or 36 months and the factory warranty is for 60 months.
The track package is definitely worth it from a financial perspective. But it really all depends on what you want to do with the car. If you are not so concerned about spirited driving and looking for a better and more comfortable ride, lower crusing rpms on the highway, etc. then maybe you would be better to invest in some of the Mustang's comfort options like the electronics package, rear view camera, etc.
I have the Borla S axle backs on mine and they are such an improvement over stock, it felt like I had a new car again.
I was torn between the Deep Blue or the Red but it was the Blue the dealer had. Don't think the TracPak is worth it either unless you are going to track it hard or really drive the piss out of it. Got the 3.73 and the mileage isn't that bad at all, these OHC motors like to rev. That gear does make first kind of useless. Got the Roush twin chamber exhaust (what ever that is) and almost too loud over 3K in town.

Sounds good, but just so you know, you can no longer customize the vehicle to your liking (order from a factory), the cutoff date was October 31st. So you're basically stuck with whatever is already made. Good luck though!

As 2013MustangGT mentioned, the order banks for the 2013MY Mustangs are closed, so let me know if you need help finding your perfect match, Buckk9.
Be sure to check out Ford Racing Parts for mods. Also, always speak to your servicing dealer prior to adding aftermarket parts to your vehicle.
If you daily the car, I wouldn't recommend the track pack, but it's always good to have if you track rat the car afterwards.
In terms of colour, I'm part of the Grabber Blue, SG, or White or go home group. I never understood why people liked Candy Red, but that's your opinion. I think it's the worst colour you can get.

Well the color is purely subjective, so you're just going to get everyone's favorite. I'd say the color that makes your heart skip a beat when you see it on the car is the one you need to buy. I have the red metallic. It looks fantastic in the sun.
Probably the only parts your dealer will install are the Ford Racing. If they do install any other brands they surely won't be warrantied through Ford. FR parts are warrantied through Ford. I have the track pack on my car because I plan to do some HPDE's with it. 95% of the time though it is my DD. I think the pack is worth it for that reason. If you never plan to track it, I'm not so sure you'd benefit from it on the street. I suppose some back road running would be more fun. You'll just have to deicde if it's worth it. It's not like running a back road is timed, so you'll have just as much fun without the track pack. I don't really find it is bothersome on the road, it's just the money factor.
I purchased an axle back FR GT500 exhaust. I really just wanted the extra sound, not performance. So I went cheap, only $300 to my door. Again, that is all preferrence.
Good luck with your search.

+1 on the exhaust. Must have.

Of the colors on your list, GB. Still loving my PW but GB was a close second and everytime I see pictures of one posted here or on the streets locally my jaw drops. DIB is pretty stunning too though.
I was never nutso on the Candy Red, that orangey/rusty tint that seems to be a perennial Ford favorite for their metallic reds has just has never appealed to me. Maybe Ruby Red will have more of a blue undertone, like a classic street rod candy apple red. That would be beautiful.

If you love your dog, get a microchip, they really work! My lost dog was back home in just under 24 hours thanks to the good citizens who called the county and the microchip that told animal control exactly where he lived.
Thanks deysha. I'm currently talking with a dealer in San Antonio on my options. I will be moving terr in a week and a half and there are a ton of deers around that Area so I should have some options hopefully. Thanks for the input guys. I love the GB. It is my top choice but I wanna see the others in person. I was debating waiting for the 14 but the back end looks bigger IMO and not appealing.

Any exhaust change is really only about sound.....no real HP gains here. That being said, "great sound" is almost as "subjective" as "best color" I didn't want "super loud" as much as I wanted "deep rumble." I installed the FRPP GT500 axlebacks and their sound is just terrific

Part of the "possible lack of understanding" may have to do with the way you spell "color" For some of us, one of the most popular colors of "hot rods" in the 60's, in the U.S.A., was "Candy Apple Red" Some of us either drove a "Candy Apple Red" street rod or wanted one! I always tell people the color of my Mustang is "Candy Apple Red," and most "car guys" immediately make the connection

I am on my second Red Candy GT and it is still my favorite color. Each to his/her own. I have had two 3.73s and I like the 3.31 much better. I had GT500 axle backs on my 2012 and I prefer the stock 2013 sound. Try how it comes first before ordering parts. There is no bad GT LOL.
