I just looked on their website and didn't see anything this weekend, where did you find this info from? I am looking at going to Chuckwalla in March, this will be my first time to the track in the car.

It's like you SoCal guys live in Australia and your summers are opposite of everyone else's winter.
We're getting back up to the mid 70s now haha. Winter is track season for us. Since all of our tracks are in the desert, summers are so unbearably hot that most stock internal cars can't take the abuse.

The registration is closed so you can't really see it. If you go to the left side column, it does say Streets of Willow on Jan 20th. I might be out to Chuckwalla in march as well.

Make sure you have some GoPro cameras when you go.

Were you actually thinking of selling or is that just a random thought?
Its an actual thought. I want to improve my driving so upgrading to a manual is the best way to go. I also want a base trim so I won't feel so guilty about removing the leather seats for race seats.

If you found a 2013 V6 for $22k and a 2012 5.0 for $25k, which would it be? If they were the same cost? Just a hypothetical.

I have thought about that question extensively. To be honest if I could, I would go 5.0 in a heart beat haha. However I am still somewhat new tracking so I wouldn't want something that powerful. Depends on the milage and history of the 5.0

The V6 would be a hell of a lot easier to drive aggressively and get on the power sooner, something I'd think would make for a more satisfying track experience for the same reason the FR-s/BR-z cars are so popular. The 5.0 is a beast wherever it is but the wheelspin can be frustrating.
