Any recommendations on an axle back system that will add just a little more deep sound without turning heads? So far the exhaust system is stock. I have been looking at Dynomax VTs #38507 with the valves that open at hard throttle. But haven't found many reviews.
Oh yeah... I want absolutely NO drone cause I do considerable highway driving.
I think Magnaflows are the good sound you want, search youtube for vids that will help you decide

The flapper valve thing on the Dynomax VTs is suppose to eliminate drone. It's hard to get a feel for sound when most videos are made by a cell phone. Especially, drone in the cabin.
I was actually looking into the Dynomax catback because of price only. But I'll probably just keep my stock muffs and do LTs and a catted xpipe.

I have the Dynomax catback system. There is no drone on the highway, I mostly drive highway for my job. There is a slight drone about 1700 rpm or if you're going up a slight hill, one that doesn't cause the tranny to downshift. I just push the hill assist button and make it downshift.
I have about 40,000 kms on these mufflers now and the sound still gets better. I really like them.
Dynomax VT 38507 axle back is looking real good at $410 shipped. Comes with a 90 day risk free performance and sound money back (including labor) guarantee. I may have arrived at my solution.

I have long tubes with a catted x pipe and stock mufflers sounds pretty much stock but has a much deeper tone. Axle backs dont do much for power anyway.. I dont really see a need to be loud
Yeah, I would have said this because I like them a lot, but the straight through race muffler design makes them fairly aggressive. Now I sound like an AM exhaust video.
