Hi everyone, I'm browsing around at aftermarket exhaust parts and instead of going with headers and an O/R h-pipe paired with my Borla ATAKs and Airaid CAI I've come across the MRT catted H-pipe.
Under their product info it says may require a tune.. Would it still run and operate normally with any sort of gains or would I be suffering a dip in my fuel economy from confused o2 sensors?
My bad I read it as a catted h
But o / r will work. Lethal also makes one
Plus tune it cats are a major facot if it says tune then tune

It is catted H. I don't want the Noise level of an offload pipe. I leave for work before 7 don't wanna upset the neighbours too much.

I have this pipe on mine. It's still loud almost as if it was catless. I needed to add resonators to cut down on the popping/rasp. Other mods are Pypes cat back, aluminum driveshaft, airaid intake, 3.73 gears, sct/bama 93r tune. Tune probably not necessary but for my set up (gears) I needed it. And why not squeeze out all you can.

Put it towards a better mod...

Ahh so even adding the h-pipe made your setup raspy? I was thinking keeping the stock cats but getting my midpipe changed from the hybrid that it is right now to a defined h-pipe at a local shop.
I just bought the ProCharger tuner kit....can't get any better then that. I think the X or H pipe is a good mod to have for those who don't want headers. I personally think headers or catless systems on the 3.7 sounds awful. At idle is ok but anywhere else In The rpms, no thanks.
KnightX-
I was extremely happy with the way the Pypes cat back sounded paired with the stock x/h pipe. After adding the MRT catted H pipe it was raspy. It was as if I didn't have cats. I added (2) 12" bottle style resonators. These helped a ton.
