Default Diablosport Intune Update

I was lucky enough to win my Intune from UPR. Upon initial arrival I thought it was a neat device, and I saw much better gas mileage. I didn't feel the performance gains I initially hear about when everyone tunes their cars.
I thought that I was expecting too much. After the update I installed tonight, I think I wasn't expecting enough! All I have to say is holy **** what a difference! My 2.73's broke loose when I got on it from a standstill and chirped going into 2nd (remember I have an auto so this is no easy task).
The added features the update provides are great. I am now able to adjust firmness of the shift and rpm shift points. I don't even think I've begun to dial this thing in yet.
The customization options are awesome and so are the datalogging tools. I know custom tunes are the best option, but the new canned tune kicks major ass. With this new tune alone the car feels 1/2 second faster. So if anyone has a tough time choosing a tuner, I hope this helps you out a bit.
Diablosport.... Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback. American Muscle just got these in stock yesterday which prompted me to pull the trigger on an Airaid today. It should be here Monday and I want to run it solo for a few weeks before adding an inTune w/ BAMA's...

Glad you're happy. What was done different in the update?

I'm trying to decide if I want the Intune from Bama or the old SCT. I would like to try tunes from Steeda and Justin Starkey VMP Tuning but I don't think they write them for Diablosport. Decisions.

I honestly don't know what's different now other than the way it feels. When you go to modify a setting such as the shift firmness it is at stock, but you never really know what stock is. The biggest difference between when I originally got it and now is the additions they have made to the adjustable parameters. There are a lot! It would be interesting to have someone get a custom tune and datalog their passes in the 1/4. Then another person datalog their 1/4 passes running on a canned tune to visually compare the differences.

Well crap...I got my pcm recall reflash done over two weeks ago now and I'm waiting on them to "write a new crom file" to get the inTune to support my vehicle again (says "not supported" now). Yeah, it didn't have shift firmness adjustment or shift rpm which I'd love access too. Sounds great man. I think it's worse actually owning one but cannot use it again, lol. Stock really sucks. The BBK TB helps some for the mean time though.

We sure did just bring in the inTune! I'm glad to hear this prompted you to pull the trigger on an CAI, you'll love that system.

Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance!

Jasinedward we're glad you're enjoying the tune! We've done a TON of work on our Mustang tunes over the past few months to make them as stout as they can possibly be. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying that power! If you ever need anything let us know!

Can you post dyno charts for the tune. and my intune is sitting at home plugged into my computer. It was in for about 10 minutes before i left I hope it is done when I get home (from 730 to 330) I guess I am part of the instant generation where I want it now

Does a tune do anything for a manual V6 Mustang? Seems like the autos benefit the most.
