With all the mods you did to your V6, you could of had a 5.0 and paid for insurance. Just keep your foot out of the loud pedal to avoid buying new sneakers for the rear.

FWIW he's from Plano which is one of the most affluent cities in America where it's not unusual for parents to buy their 16 year old a new M3. Kids in that zipcode probably think that everyone is given a car, had school paid for, rent, insurance. Some of them are way out of touch with reality and end up 10 years out of high school still living off their parents. On a positive note, the economy can't be all that bad if they can afford to give their kids a $30k car.

learn to read, and write, please.
I wasn't talking crap about you just giving some insight into your (likely) economic situation. It's not your fault. How many of us would do the dignified thing and refuse help from our parents? I wish to heck my parents bought me a car and paid for school but they didn't and years later I realize I'm probably better for it as I've become extremely resourceful and make a comfortable living with plenty of toys to keep me happy and no one to thank but the universe and my tenacity. I know plenty of these "failure to launch" types that had everything handed to them and some are in their 30s now still getting support from their folks.
...BTW if you "never got treated like that" how did you end up with your folks buying your car? Isn't that kind of exactly "like that" ?? So you payed for you mods but not the car, you're calling that "paying for almost everything" ?? C'mon dude. At least own up to what's what. It's OK, I come from a mixed familiar background with one side poor and the other quite wealthy so I've got 1/2 of my aunts uncles and cousins that were given everything but everyone on my dad's side is dirt poor so I grew up with a weird mix of entitled people and hard working blue color types. I love them all equally but guess which side I got my work ethic and tenacity from??

Sounds like my family. I come from the poor hard working side and just laugh at the entitled side.

Yeah it's a weird spot to be in but I'm glad I got both experiences. I can be equally at home at a black tie dinner event or drinking a 40 from a paper bag while working on cars with friends. lol
I know how to fight, and cook a gourmet meal. How to camp in the woods, and how to order room service. lol

Here is a little insight my parents never bought me **** since i was 15 clothing, food, phone anything they told me i had to work for it all. Yes we have money they don't send it on my at all we have 3 houses if i was really rich and spoiled id have a GT500. A v6 mustang is not something ridiculous expensive at all so don't think im so spoiled i got the all stock base mustang.

Around where I live, the average price parents pay for a new car for their son/daughter is between 15-20k new. The spoiled kids get 35k bmw's and 40k mercedes then total it and get another.
