Omg so powerful all he had on was an intake were raced a 2010 m3 and 03 svt cobra after a car show pulled away so hard. Also we raced 60 roll right from start he pulls 3 car lengths. He has that torque advantage.
I really just want to trade in my car and get 5.0 now so tough not to i dont want to wait for 15 to roll out

I test drove an 11 premium and really wasn't that sold.... Maybe it was the gearing and the fact it was an auto. I did drive a 2013 manual and it felt like a different car. I personally like all of em..... the v6, the GT, the Boss, and the GT500. I know I'll even like the new turbo 4.
Haha one of my good friends has a white stick shift 5.0. I alway ride in it and always love to drive it. It's a beast, but honestly it's pretty excessive on the street. He can't hit the gas without going 15 over the speed limit. Or when I'm driving it you can't go full throttle or you'll fishtail into any car in the bordering lanes.
Going up a local canyon though its super fun. Sometimes we switch cars and hell drive mine and ill drive his. The main difference is the torque. the 5.0 pulls at 3500 like our cars do at 5000 and when it hit its max torque at 4250 rpm its pulling like out cars at redline and its in the beginning of its power band. We've raced too and he has a sold 3-4 lengths on me from any speed. It's ok with me! Driving my v6 and filling up every two weeks is worth the trade off of 3-4 car lengths and filling up every two days. he doesnt daily drive it; it just uses to much gas. i get to drive my mustang every day anywhere i want. But that sound is amazing.
Its not that practical as a daily driver after you mod it especially. I love that torque we will see what there is to come if the 15 v6 has 400 hp i would defiantly take it but that is a huge milestone for them

After driving GT1120's car torque is your friend. for me it was the 5K more to buy that made it not worth it. Yes it's better, just 2-3K better (opinion)

The next iteration of the 3.7 in the 2015 won't be anywhere near to 400 HP as it will still be the same basic motor as it is now. If they go ahead and up it to direct injection they may get it up to 320 or so but it won't be 400.
They are going with the ecoboost 4-banger for the mid-range motor so there won't be much further development to the 3.7 V6.

Yea my friend has a intake/tune/exhaust and its crazy. The power up top is intense.
And if it is like you say lt, I don't think they would add direct injection to a base engine. They'd rather sell the more expensive turbo 4 no? Either way I can't wait to race some of those 2015 4 bangers hahaha
that 4 banger will get 40 mph tough decisions in the future to come id love to own a gt im only 21 insurance will hit me hard i know that. we will see how much it will be when 2015 roll out and the trade in money i will get

I test drove a GT before I ended up with the 6, I could have easily afforded the GT. The power on the 5.0 is awesome, but the 6 seemed more fitting for a daily driver. As a bonus the v6 does awesome in the snow
I have a 13 5.0 and my son has a 13V6 PP. I have a bama tune and BBK throttle body on his and it is really fun to drive. Personally, if I had it all to do over again, I would have bought the V6 for myself also. 5.0 envy is really not worth it in my opinion.

My last car was an 11 5.0 with a blower. Been there done that and so hasn't everyone else. The 3.7 will be a lot more fun to take over the top and make it fast Plus I don't care what anyone says the sound of the 5.0 never was they great.
