I've read a few post about the can tune on the diablo is really good. That its works great on the auto transmission. Are the can tunes on the diablo better then a bama custom tune on the SCT? This all comes down to dollar amounts. I want too get the most for my money. And I read about torque management on the diablo, is this also a option on the SCT? Or is this something bama can program in?

I would go with the Diablo, only because your dealer will never know your Mustang has been tuned.
Diablo doesnt have ant special script to hide the tune they just market the tune removal feature
The reason i went with daiblo is i didnt hear anyone bricking cars
Plus the intune offers way more in terms of what you can change and its smaller and was about 150$ cheaprr then bama with sct

Either one can load the tune on the cars pcm the same, either one is subject to the same detection procedures by the Ford techs.
As to which tunes work better is a subjective matter, what is great to one person may be less than optimal to someone else.
The inTune has a lot more functionality than the sct x3/sf3 as far as things like gauge functions and easier data logging and playback. And much smaller size.

I went with the SCT Tuner, even though the InTune was well priced and had more features because my tuner (Steeda) is SCT certified. I wanted to have something that all the ford tuners knew and I figured the SCT was my best bet.
Maybe they would have been just as good with the Diablo, but at the end of the day they both do the same thing.

Get the tuner that what your local dynoshop uses. One day you might have to go there for a custom tune and beats shelling out another $300-400 for a tuner.
I can't vote for either. I got spoiled on the APR tune for my VW. I could preload three tunes into memory and then use my turn signal to load the tune of choice within a few moments. Need a visit to the dealer? No problem. I would routinely switch the tune out in the dealer lot.
I can't speak for the intune since I've never used it. It looks cool though. As for SCT, I'm afraid any time I want to change my tune especially after I temporarily "bricked" my car due to their software and tuner. It only happened once, but believe me, once is all it takes to care the crap out of you. And it would be one thing if it was an isolated case, but you can find lots of posts where the SCT tuner has temporarily fragged cars and in at least one case, an ECU needed to be replaced. Luckily though all cars completely recovered.
inTune. Customer service matters too. I have experience with both. Diablo is prompt. Not much support, in my experience, from sct. Sct was the only tuner available for my last vehicle so I did not have much choice.

You really can't go wrong with either the SCT SF3 tuner or Intune. They're both great options and both can hold the same exact tune from Bama. So, I would just choose whichever one looks best to you or you feel is the better choice.
Also remember, if you purchase either tuner from AM, you'll automatically be enrolled into our Free Tunes for Life program. This mean you'll have access to our custom Bama tunes for either tuner and can get free tune adjustments for any future bolt-on mods you add!

I think the customer service is what is making me lean more towards the Intune. For instance, I don't see anyone from SCT on this forum answering questions the way Diablo does and that is just a little bit more reassuring.

You make a good point here. I too am trying to decide which of these to get.

Bricking the car is something I don't want too chance. And like stated, I've seen a few threads about SCT bricking a car. It's not like bricking a router, or a game system. Been there, done that, not hard too fix. But the ecu on a car? Don't want to go there at all. I'm leaning towards the diablo, at the moment after reading this. I was hoping Dan from diablo would chime in. I know he would pick his own product, but I just would like too hear his opinion. He seems to be up front and honest.

When I said brick, I didn't mean permanently. However, make sure you load tunes during SCT working hours or you will be waiting until they return from the weekend or next day to send you recovery files.
