Hey guys. New here. Just bought a new 2016 gt with the performance pack about 8 weeks ago. Right now has a out 2600 miles on it. Since i got it i have been noticing a thud when shifting in low gears. Specifically 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I do not drive the car very hard and i drove it like a grandpa for the first 1000 miles. I am not new to driving manual transmissions, i prefer them to be honest.
Not sure the reason, but two of my friends have 15 GT's. One of theirs is a performance pack the other has the 3.55 gears. They both have the same thud. So I'm guessing it's "normal?"
Not what I would call normal but they do it, you can be sitting at idle and shift into first and it still does it so this is not rpm related.
