Default 1999 Mustang GT Speedometer and Odometer Calibration for 3:73 Gears and 18" Tires

Greetings. Just purchased a 1999 GT with 3:73 gears, 18 inch tires, and BBK off-road x-pipes. (very loud, bordering on annoying) I've read similar postings about purchasing an electronic "speed calibrator" to adjust the speedometer for the 3:73 gears and 18 tire size. It doesn't however, mention how to correct for the odometer, which I am told is also being effected by this set-up. Does anyone have any insight as to the best, most cost-effective device for this problem?
Many thanks, Gio

By Law, the odometer can't be adjusted by the owner (and the handheld tuners that CAN correct the car for the gears and wheels won't do this).

When you correct the computer this will also stop any "off" postings for miles traveled as well, but it won't give you any way of compensating for the earlier miles.

I would not worry about this - there's nothing you can do about the odometer.

Diablo Predator, SCT and Sniper will all correct the speedo for you.

Thanks for the insight. Tampering with the odometer is definitely not my style. I read somewhere that the miles will pile up more quickly than they should, based on the gear change. My concern is future miles. I will look into your recommendation. Thanks again.
