2001 Mustang GT Projection HID's

I know a lot of people in the mustang World said it could not be done... but I did it!
I took my HID's Headlight Kit and Customized them to fit PROJECTORS.

Tools: Power Drill, Rotorzip with bits, Robogrips, rubber gloves, safety glass. Wire Taps, Eletrical and Cloth Tape.

I ordered a Dual Halo Projection lens for a 2001 GT reason being the wholesale price for me was only $93.00 the whole set.

I used the Rotorzip to bore out the hole so my 9007 HID would slide in. then i went to home depot and got a 2in plastic cap and cut a hole in it to put the HID wires throught and jet the bulb in place.

I mounted the HID bulb in the housing and tape it too. Corrected the wiring for the Halo's into the turn signal Black to Black and Red to Gray (or Brown) then i turned on my parking for the test (passed) and then turned on my HID's (passed)

my projectors have to be readjusted they were aimed down.. so i re did the cut off line.. and aim high.

it can be DONE...

actually i talked MAD crap about halos in stangs.... but the lens were 93 bucks for both nice wholesale price for the price i had to do it...

once i install them with the HID's i was like dude... that actually looks really nice... great for racing... light souce is just like a BMW M3... looks the same.

nice job dont get me wrong but in my experiences most projecton headlights suck at night. my son has them in his 98 gt and they are horrible. nice job though.

did you change the bulb out, or the projector? hid projectors are a lot different than the H4 projectors that come in those ebay housings.
