Default Great idea need help though

I think im on to a pretty good idea here just need to know if someone has taken it yet. A couple of nights ago i came up with a ram air idea that will hook up to the stock hoodscoop and front bumper. Im going to attach a rubber piece around the hole on the other side of my hoodscoop and run a pipe from that piece to the intake that sits inside the front fender. so it operates like this it goes through the hoodscoop down through the pipe and blows directly onto the intake, and im doing the same thing for the front bumper. The only other device i've seen like that was the shaker hood conversion kit from the mach1 but thats $800, mine is about 50$, so please give me your opinion

Default Workmanship

Get us some pics when you do it, and I'll give you some feedback.

Home-made CAI's can work, and so can home-made ram air rigs, but the key is the fit, finish and workmanship.

You should also give some consideration to what will happen in the event of rain.

Study what Cervini has done with their ram air kit for these cars.
