Default 2003 full bolt on running 13.3 at 267rwhp!

So my videos and car have been brought up on here a few times in the last year and the issue always is can a 2003 mustang gt with all the bolt ons make 270 rwhp.
Is anyone here sitting on this kinda of horse power with their 1999-2003 mustang gt's. Mine has dyno'd at 267rwhp and 272rwhp sae.
Im going to spend another 100$ and get it done again and record the whole thing this time so people can see. I have no reason to lie and I really thought these numbers where kinda low for the bolt ons I have.
(All the mods I have are as followed. K&N intake that goes to a 85mm mass air tube that transfers to a 4inch 90 that goes over and down the fender wall. 75mm t.b. 85mm plenum. Just installed the 1inch t.b. spacer and the 0.5inch plenum spacer. I have the under drive pulleys with a 160 deg thermostat.I put the electric water pump on 2 months ago. BBK short tubes with a BBK off road X-pipe with flowmasters and 4 inch tips. 3.73 gears wich I had the clutches rebuilt while the diff was out , slotted rotors, 315 out back with 275 on front. I swapped the 3650 to the tko500 with a shorter first gear ratio, went with the ford racing drive shaft with steeda spacer with the steeda short throw shifter. I put a ram clutch in and the flywheel has been machined several times. Diablo hand held tuner that has been used to dyno tune twice. All the suspension has been upgraded.

Heres a few videos of my car 2003 MUSTANG GT HOUSTN TEXAS - Video

Storkdork has a Mustang that puts down 273rwhp. He's got K&N CAI, Profesional Products plenum &75mm TB, full exhaust, sct tune. What brand plenum & TB are you running?

I am sorry but if the only mods he has are the ones you listed above I am not buying it.

Default PP

PP products are OK, just not quite as good as the main brands (but they are cheaper, too).

The intakes are essentially a slightly modified copy of the OE Ford nylon item run off in Red China in Aluminum. Its not the equal of the P51, Hardball'r, Edelbrock or Trick Flow items, but it also costs less...

A lot depends on WHERE the Mustanger wants to go with the build.

Lots of people just need a little more than stock, and the PP items will deliver that, and do it inexpensively.

Its a general rule that "You get what you pay for".

So long as the buyer doesn't expect the $400 intake to perform like the $700 intake, all is good.

Default Dyno Sheets

OK, guys, if we're going to start posting up dyno results, it would be nice to post up some scans of the sheets too. Otherwise, this ALWAYS gets people arguing back and forth.

There are differences in which dyno is used - the air and weather conditions - altitude above sea level - and of course the unfortunate tendency of owners to, well, EXAGGERATE their results.

I have also seen folks fill their cars with racing gas (or hook up a quick shot of nitrous), get a dyno tune on the ragged edge for the hot stuff, and then pass off the run as "I got 290rwhp on regular gas with nothing but a new muffler and air filter".

As for the run with the "usual bolt on suspects" hitting about 275 at the rear wheels (which is over 313hp at the flywheel), I would have to grade that as "unlikely".

This is an ANCIENT source of argument on all car sites, so we routinely ask people making such claims to back them up with the dyno slips (or track slips if they also managed to dip into the low 11's with the same magikal tune).

Its all in good fun, so we HAVE to keep it neat and tidy, see?

BBk t.b. and c&l plenum. Im going this weekend to get the dyno video and results. The 267 was ran last year before I put the electric water pump and spacers on and it was in August. Very hot out here in Texas in August. But I would want to see proof to so I will be bringing the proof this weekend. Thank you all for the replies, just trying to see what everyone is getting out of these bolt ons. Again proof is near....

Yep, I wish I could show everyone my chicken scratches where I estimated the best that combo would produce...

I came up with just under 255hp (and thought, "generous").

Thanks for the post, dirty99.

Before the supercharger mine ran around 240rwhp with exhaust, intake, hypertech tune. Ya might pull closer to 250 but i doubt 270, that would be nice tho.
