Default all the different hid kits

I have been looking into getting a hid system for my 96 gt and there are so many to choose from. Most of the kits are all plug and play and the kits range from $80-$300. I know i want the hid with the high and low beam and them are more, any recommendations.

Thanks

I bought the high/low beam HID kit from stangmods.com for about 300. If you want to know, the coupon code is stangmods2. I installed them yesterday, it took about 45 minutes to an hour. I love my lights now. I got the 8000K temperature bulbs. If you get them, you will not be sorry. You might want to buy double sided tape and some more zip ties though. They only gave me four or five zip ties.

I looked at those and I'm not sure if this is a problem or seems like it might be a headache in the future, but do you really want motors repositioning your high beams? Also, I think you have to splice those in, rather than the plug and play. The ones from americanmuscle.com is the same price as the ones from stangmods.com, if you use the coupon code.

I was just stating an option that i have come across! lol But yah, i plan on buying my HID conversion kit from stangmods. I think its pretty much the same for install, but i like the fact that stangmods has a 3 year warranty and a 15 day no questions asked full refund!!
Thanks for posting the coupon code!!

One question tho? Which intensity would you say is the best? 10000k kind of seems like it could be too bright, but y not get it since its the same price as the 8000k bulb?

I went with the 8000 temperature and they are plenty bright enough. It all kind of depends on the color output you want. The 10000 is a very bright white, 8000 is more of a white with a blue tint. Here are a few pictures of mine.

you are going to blind everyone on the road with those. anyone doing hids should at least have hid projectors. i absolutely hate cars with hids. there is no reason for your low beams to be that bright.

I'm gonna be tinting my headlights with the Nightshade spray, as soon as I get a good day and don't have to work. They are bright, I know.
