Default Aluminum Head Spark Plug Concerns...

I've done lots of research on spark plug issues but I still have some concerns. I'm about to change out the plugs on my 2000 GT for the first time and here’s what I’ve gathered so far:
- Torque is critical (7-14 ft-lbs). Over or under will cause problems.
- Use a very small amount of anti-seize on lead thread of spark plug. Don’t get any on the spark plug seat or use too much.
- Engine must be stone cold.
- Check plug torque on a regular basis (at least once a year).

My biggest concern is trying to remove the factory plugs that have 75,000 miles on them. Has anyone run into problems trying to get plugs out after so many years/miles? The chances of spark plug jump out would be much higher if the aluminum threads were damaged by removing old plugs. It seems like the torque to remove them shouldn’t exceed 14 ft-lbs if the threads haven’t galled or seized up. I have a ‘click type’ torque wrench that can be set at 0.5 ft-lb increments but I think it can only be used for tightening so I can’t accurately measure the torque to remove a plug. Maybe I’m just being paranoid but I’ve got good reason. Thanks for helping out.

By the way, I'm installing copper tip Motorcraft plugs that are one range colder than stock. I've got them gapped and ready to go.

Should the old plugs come out pretty easy? Did they use anti-seize at the factory when the plugs were first installed?
