I have a triple black 97 vert and was thinking of a color theme for it. Thought i'd run it by you guys. Blue calipers, Carbon fiber hood, and maybe blue underglows (ya I know it's ricer). would that look good without being too out there? or any other suggestions welcome. Thanks

As far as a color theme, I wouldn't include carbon fiber in it. A carbon fiber hood is good because of the reduced weight but PLEASE paint it to match your car color. Mustang owners should always shy away from the styling of the little import tuners zipping around the streets. Blue calipers would look good but the underglow is a little bit lame if you ask me and can bring about unwanted attention when you're driving.
lol ^^^ i'd die for a full carbon fiber body. dash/pannels everything. If anything get a 4" or 3" cowl hood and no frigan underglows thats ricer.. save the money and get some go fast goodies.. oh did i mention the underglow was ricer?
as for color schemes pretty much anything goes amazing with black.. Blue/Green/Red/White/Purple/Yellow. Just pick wich one you want. go with like light blue ghost flames or somthing crazy with the blue calipers.

cool thnx for the tips. so no carbon fiber and no underglows. (guess i should put my copy of Fast and the Furious back on the shelf ) I'm definately gonna do black with blue, just trying to figure out something that's custom and will separate me from the 40 other mustangs on my street.

do like some people did with there cars.. if you know somone get your calipers/valve covers/intake manifold powdercoated gloss black then get some blue ghost flames airbrushed on. A nice exhaust setup will make you stand out to.. Maybe blackout your headlights and taillights that would look good. Your car do what you want i can only suggest not to go rice.

the way i see it, make your car custom to you, because you drive it and you're putting your personality into it, and you dont want the same setup as everyone else, so i can say dont get underglow or carbon fiber or ghost flames(i wouldnt) but it is your car, but just remember what you do to your car directly reflects you

the carbon hood would look great unpainted, especially with a black car... the underglows are RICE! and illegal/stupid/lame/dumb/pointless/annoying/etc.

The carbon fiber could look good but its kind of ify, especially unpainted, its border line rice. Now the underglow lights, i really wouldn't do myself. But like the others said a the end of the day its your car and your look!
