Question 2000 Mustang keyless entry

I truely apologize for my recent post, I didnt know how to start a thread so I posted a question as a reply. Sorry!! Im new to this!!

My question is this: I have a 200 Ford Mustang and the keyless remote entry sounds the horn for the alarm and it pops the trunk but it doesnt unlock/lock the doors. I have to use the key everytime. When I push the lock/unlock buttons on the remote I can hear them what sounds like trying to go up and down (thelocks on the doors) but they cant or wont. Im not sure what it is, Im starting to think it has nothing to do with the remote and maybe something electrical.. can anyone please help me!!! email me at laranjo_sonia@yahoo.com

Thank you.

Does the button inside the car work to lock or unlock the doors?

Default key spinning in ignition 92 notch

I'm in the same place you are... I don't see where to start a new thread so I'll just ask my question here;

When I try to start my '92 notchback 5.0 the key just spins all the way forward with no resistance. The first sign of a problem occured when I could jiggle the key in the "on" postion and turn the car off.

Is there a cable or some spring loaded device that's maybe the problem? Even with the key all the way forward there is no battery power, it's like the connectors in are never pulled in line to get power to the car... I've checked the battery and that's not the problem, it's got plenty of voltage. The motor is not turning at all...

Thanks y'all,
~Chris
