I havent been on here in a long time but thought I would let everyone know I dont have the saleen anymore. I traded for a 89 ranger. Its a drag truck setup for the 10.5 class. Went 8.77 at 168 in the 1/4. Has a 408 windsor with nitrous. 50-500 shot. Powerglide trans and everything. Hope to have good luck with the truck. I will miss the little old stang though.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Expected more people to say I was stupid for making the trade. I ran it this weekend. Made consistent 6.83 passes with it. Made one 6.77. The nitrous converter hurts it a lot. Still makes 1.5 60 ft times but it doesnt really pull hard till 2nd but thats about half track. It was setup for the 1/4 this was the 1/8. It barks 2nd when I shift. It really need the spray out of the hole. I think I could change the converter and make 6.40 passes easy. A couple people asked what kind of converter I had, because they said it sounds like a dog of the line then half track pulls really hard. But it was a lot of fun. I hope to get use to it more so I can start winning with it
