So, went to bed last night and my drivers side pwr window was just dandy. Went to work and drivers side window is dead. I tried hitting the door area a couple times ... nothing. Thing is no sound is even comming from the motor (window motor).
Could it be the fuses? Although arnt both doors on the same fuse with the power locking? Only my drivers side isnt working and the locks are fine. I figure its got to be either the motor or ... the fuse?
What am I looking at in repair costs here?
Also I plan on taking to door cover thing off and take a look.

aaaaaand its working again ..... didnt do anything. It was miday hot as balls when it start and its cool outside now. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I actually did jiggle the wires and switch, didnt change anything.

Motor could be getting beat and starting to choose when it will and won't work. hot weather might be a contibuting factor just as cold weather could be too.

soooooo beat the **** outta my motor till it works. OK! lol j/k. Yeah I heard somthing about an actuator and some other thingy should be cleaned to see if it works.

If you have to replace the motor look for them "new" not "used"(because they will probably screw you over) on ebay or craigslist or something like that. Usually window motors sell for $80-$90 each but i found some for $45 on ebay. Also be careful with taking out the window motor I almost cut my hand off once when i wasn`t paying attention when working on an 87 mustang convertible. Wear gloves or you will come out with a lot of bloody nuckles.
