Hey everyone..thought ya'll might like this as much as I did...i absolutly luv the paint job on this saleen...only 25 where made...620hp and a price tag of 99,000!!
And only 25 made, all already sold (I checked - their anniversary cars are ALWAYS sold out to serious old line Saleen collectors - the last ones were all white convertibles, I think).
620hp, hmmm, sounds like the new 5.0 and the Saleen version of the new Eaton twin screw blower.
Sorry, for the money I'd rather have the KR and change.

hell yeah! that saleen is sick! but the price tag is crazy..ill take a plain gt500 and the 50g's i saved an walk away happy!
none the less its still worth the price for how customized and rare it is...not to mention the saleen name will knock that price up whether it was worth it or not, even though we all know it is

Ford will make at least 1000 KRs, whereas Saleen made only 25 of these - thats a 40:1 advantage. And like I said, they go to a very select list of collectors (folks that collect Salleens).
Better chance with a KR (just checked, some high end Ford dealers are dealing on them now, but you're right, they want high dollar) than one of 25.
The $99000 price for the Saleen's is no more real than the list price for the mondo Shelbies, of course.
The KRs SHOULD go for about 80k, max (just like the GT500s should go for about 45k). I think the Saleens (all 25 of them) are probably worth more than 100k, right now.
Long term, though, I believe the KRs will outperform them as both a driveable collectible and an investment.
I'm an old guy. The last time I saw this situation (end of the muscle car era, early 70s) Dealers were discounting Shelbies to get them off the lots. Guys that bought then and kept the cars, of course, did pretty well - almost as good as the money would have done in the stock market.

I did not know that they were actually going to produce them. I had heard about the concept and I had heard the rumor that they were the SA25's but I did not know for sure.
I think that they are beautiful cars, but the price is a bit steep. After all it is still a Mustang it has not changed into a different car. lol
I absolutly luv the car...i bet it handles like a dream to...price is high...but can you imagine what that car is gonna be worth in some years to come.
