Default Insurance on a newer V8 Mustang?

Hey guys, as you know I have been looking into miltiple vehicles as a senivle first car, I have come down to a Jeep Liberty, and Ford Mustang GT Premium. Well, for 250 a month I can pick up a brand New Mustang GT premium package at my local dealer, seems good right? Well what about insurance on that car? I'm paying for it all, so I want it to hopefully be cheap. What are you guys typicaly paying on your 05+ Gt? I'm torn between a Jeep Liberty and the Mustang.

I am paying about $80 a month with state farm for full coverage on an 06 GT premium.

Guaranteed your insurance will be more than $80 if your DOB is what it says on your profile. Talk to your insurance agent before you make a complete decision. Jeep will be more than likely cheaper but i'd go 'stang. Plus, no offense Chrysler isnt really cranking out good products right now and i would wait 'till the newer gen of their vehicles, check them out then I would consider it more. Mustang, depending on your record may cost you $150+! but again, check it out!

assuming you have a clean driving record you will be paying at least 150 a month. i had 2 tickets when i got my car and i was under 25 and i was paying 240 a month. its down to 140/month now. plan on paying about 150 and month and dont get any tickets. dont get a jeep liberty, its a girls car.
