My dad finally found his Cobra, a 2001 dark grey. I havent seen the car, but he said it looked really good, althought the miles were unknown. Its at a little dealership and he is planning on trading in his 88 5.0 in on it (he has another, so dont worry).
My question is has anyone had any problems with this car. I know the IRS bushings are weeker than the 03-04, but he will not be pushing the car to hard, just a quick run every now and then. Also, what is a lot of miles for the car and what type of price would you expect. I looked at KBB and they said around 14k and i think it is priced at 13.5k. So is there anything he should know about before he gets the car? I know that the Mach's are almost the same as the 99-01 Cobras and I love the Mach. So any info would help. Thanks all.

Average miles would be about 85k, which this one has.
Car should be low miles and pristine for $13.5k, and even then, I'd dicker pretty hard with the dealer. Muscle cars are selling slow right now, and their prices are softer than they were.
If your Dad just plans to drive the car sanely on the highways, he should be OK with the half shafts and so forth.
